Even though the people Iapos;m talking about donapos;t actually read this place, I still want to deliver mad props (tm) to them this way.
Weapos;ve all stuck together in a long-running DnD/Birthright Campaign that weapos;ve started up somewhere in May 2005 and finally put to bed in August 2008.
Bless you DM, for putting up with us never doing whatever you have planned, forcing you to change your plot and being such a great opponent to match wits to.
To the player of Mertheal Hadiloch, the apos;giantapos; merchant king: Whatever stories youapos;re telling right now, it needs more gold underpants.
To the player of Kalten Brightlance: Curse you and your Paladin ways, at least you got the wife you deserved.
To the player of Nikita Darksun: I never knew an assassin could be so obviously present and still get away with all the things you did.
To the player of Dexter Shadowspire: We told you marrying the damsel you rescue isnapos;t a good idea...
Itapos;s too bad that the campaign eventually had to stop, but what do you do when your party finally reaches that final level and decides to meddle in world affairs and claim their legend... Everyone gets together and wraps up a proper epilogue for all of them. It was the greatest and longest-running campaign Iapos;ve played in in all my time of roleplaying.
So I, (the player of) Warlock-King Jarod Lindfaller, tip my hat to all of you above.
These people rock.
